Description

Does your community have leaders willing to work together to tackle local transportation issues (e.g., funding, service gaps, service coordination), remove barriers, and find solutions? One of the Mobility Planning Institutes may be the perfect place to bring those leaders to the table to start the process! They will be supported in creating and maintaining strong and equal linkages among the disability community and transportation industry.

Each institute begins with your team’s selection to participate in it, continues through the team’s development of an action plan, and extends through follow-up training and technical assistance the team receives post-event for 12 months from institute faculty members and staff of Easter Seals Project ACTION and the National Center on Senior Transportation.
